Army BLC Online

The Basic Leader Course of the U.S. Army can be taken online through Army Blackboard. The BLC online was already in the making process before the COVID-19 hit.

When the COVID-19 became imminent to all of our lives, the US Army initiated the Army Blackboard, not only as means to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 but as part of the Federal Cloud Computing Initiative. This ensures the continuation of the Army courses designed for the servicemembers.

How to take the BLC online?

The Army’s Basic Leader Course is available on the Army Blackboard. The servicemembers can enroll in the BLC through logging into the Army Blackboard using their AKO (Army Knowledge Online) accounts or CAC.

Here is how to enroll in Basic Leader Course on the Army Blackboard.

  1. Log in Army Blackboard.
  2. On top of the homepage after logging in, click Courses.
  3. Select the courses under the course catalog and search the course.
  4. Once the course appears, click the drop-down menu and select enroll.

That’s it. After successfully locating and enrolling in the course, you will know when to start your Basic Leader Course online. The same as the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), you will know everything you need about the online BLC.
