Where to Mail 941 with Payment
Form 941 is the employer’s quarterly federal tax return reporting federal, state, and local income taxes withheld through payroll along with Social Security and Medicare tax. It also covers additional information that goes into every employee’s paycheck.
The purpose of Form 941 is to report these taxes to the Internal Revenue Service and calculate and pay the employer portion of Social Security and Medicare taxes. As you report these taxes on Form 941, you can also pay with the form if you’re paying via money or check order.
If that’s the case, you must mail Form 941 along with your payment. The address in which you’ll send the 941 is different depending on your state and whether or not you’re making a payment with it.
