Employer Federal Income Tax Withholding Tables 2021 is out now. Use the 2021 tables to figure out how much tax you need to withhold from an employee’s income.

Take your employees’ Forms W-4 and determine how much federal income tax needs to be withheld for the 2021 tax year.

The Internal Revenue Service released the federal withholding tables to help employers figure out how much tax to withhold from the employer’s paycheck. The IRS Publication 15 includes the tax withholding tables. From 2020 and beyond, the Internal Revenue Service will not release federal withholding tables Publication 15. Instead, you will need to look for the Publication 15-T.

The IRS Publication 15-T gives employers everything they need to know about tax withholdings. By simply looking at the standard withholding rate schedules, you will know how much tax to withhold from your employees’ pay.

The full tax withholding tables for 2021 published on the IRS Publication 15-T can be downloaded above. The tax withholding tables start on page 7. However, we recommend reading it from the start. Especially if you’re withholding tax as an employer for the first time.

  1. Where are the tradition tax tables for 2021? I know there are both single and married rates as well depending on the number of dependents. I have not seen any current tax tables. Please provide, if you have access to the current 2021 complete tax tables for witholding taxes. Thank you.
