What is the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)?
NSLDS is the Department of Education’s central database for federal student loans. The system contains records on anyone who has received federal student aid, including Federal Pell Grants, ACG, National SMART Grants, TEACH Grants, and Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants.
