Biweekly Pay Schedule

The biweekly pay schedule is different from the semimonthly pay schedule. Though both pay frequencies are similar, the biweekly pay schedule has two additional pays. 

As the name suggests, a biweekly pay schedule refers to receiving payments once every two weeks. The semimonthly pay schedule, on the other hand, is when you get paid twice a month. It’s the most commonly confused and compared pay frequencies to the biweekly pay schedule.
