FASTag Recharge Online

FASTag eliminates the need for stopping at tolls by handling transactions electronically. To use FASTag, you’ll need to put money into your prepaid account in which the toll amount is deducted. You can put money or “recharge” your FASTag account online by using your Credit or Debit card, NEFT, RTGS, or Net Banking.

As of 2024, FASTag operates in more than 180 toll plazas across national and state highways. It is very convenient if you’re using highways that require you to pay often.

Since the FASTag doesn’t require you to stop at tolls for cash transactions, you only need to slow down a bit so that the toll payment transaction is completed. It uses the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to make transactions. So it is a reliable system that will use the tag affixed on your windshield.

As you’re driving through the poll’s gate, you aren’t required to slow down but, there are road speed breakers where you’ll slow down eventually. Whenever a transaction is made on your FASTag account, you’ll be notified by an SMS on your phone.

FASTag saves time and fuel by passing through toll plazas without stopping for any physical transaction. The tag on the car allows making transactions using the RFID technology. The toll price is taken out of your FASTag account. Learn how you can recharge your FASTag account to pass through tolls without stopping.
